We want all of our customers to be satisfied!
Any items purchased from us may be returned within 7 days of receipt for a full refund of purchase price. (Shipping is not refundable.) We do require that all items be in as-received, new condition. Bead hanks must be intact; bead packets must be unopened. Jewelry must be unworn.

What is trade silver? Who used it? Who made it?
When white traders made contact with Native American peoples, they were anxious to find highly desirable yet very portable items to trade with the natives in exchange for furs.
Glass beads and silver jewelry were two items that filled this need perfectly.
The first pieces of "trade silver" were probably personal items owned by the traders. But before long, specific styles of silver jewelry were being produced - in Europe at first, then later in North America - expressly for the trade in furs. The northeastern tribes - who at first had little in the way of metal-working crafts - placed great value in silver jewelry in specific styles. A lively trade in sterling silver brooches, rings, earrings, and other pieces flourished through the fur-trade era (17th through mid-19th centuries.)

Do I get a shipping discount if I purchase multiple items at one time?
Yes, of course! Actual shipping will depend upon how many items we can pack together. Our shopping cart will determine correct shipping costs.

How soon can I expect my purchases to arrive?
We will ship within 3 business days maximum after receipt of order, if payment is made by credit card or money order; usually we ship sooner.
We do reserve the right to hold shipments for 10 business days if order is paid by personal check not known to us.
One or two jewelry items and all beads will ship via first class mail, which should take 2-7 days for domestic delivery. Multiple jewelry purchases will ship via priority mail, which should take 2-4 days for domestic delivery.
Please bear in mind that we have no control over the actual speed of postal delivery! International delivery, in particular, can involve delays at customs.

How will I know when my purchase has been shipped?
You will receive an email notice from USPS, which will contain the date of shipment and the package tracking number.
All of our shipments will carry delivery confirmation.

Oh, no! I've lost an earring. Can it be replaced?
We will be happy to replace/repair any missing or damaged item for a reasonable price. This includes replacing one earring or a lost stone.
Not all gems are always available, so of course this offer will only apply if the appropriate stones are currently available.
